The notes panel at the bottom of the main Swift To-Do List window displays notes for the currently selected task. It has a formatting toolbar that you can use to manipulate the text.
Some tips about notes
| • | You can drag & drop files right into the notes panel to add them to the task as an attachment. |
| • | Just like everything in Swift To-Do List, the notes are saved automatically. To save the changes immediately (in the main window), press Control+S while in notes. |
| • | The notes panel has many useful Hotkeys & Shortcuts. These hotkeys also work in memos, reminder notes area, and Add/Edit Task dialog Notes tab. |
| • |
| • | You can also import rich text .rtf files or plain text .txt files into the notes panel. |
| • | Memos are the same as task notes, but they are task-independent. Anything that you can do in task notes panel can be done in memos too. |
| • | Right-click the notes area to see a context menu with useful options. |
| • | If you do not use the notes formatting toolbar, you can hide it using the View menu. You can also hide the whole notes panel using the View menu. |
