You can set a reminder for any of your tasks in the Edit Task dialog. You can also use Recurrence to set recurring reminders.
How to set a simple "Once" reminder
Open the Edit Task dialog for the task that you want to have reminder. If you have not created the task yet, then simply open the Add Task dialog.
In the Add/Edit Task dialog, go to the Reminder tab.
Now, all you have to do, is to select the time and date, and that's it!

Types of reminders supported
| 1. | "Once" reminder |
| 2. | "Every Day" reminder that reminds you at the same hour each day |
| 3. | "Hourly" reminder that reminds you periodically in the interval you specify, starting from the time you set the reminder, or start Swift To-Do List 7. |
| 4. | "Due Date" reminder that reminds you when the task due date arises. You can set this reminder in the Reminder tab, but in order to enable it, the task must have a due date specified first. |
| 5. | "Start Date" reminder - similar to "Due Date" reminder (Professional edition only): The reminder is triggered when the start date arises. |
But you can also use Recurrence feature for reminders, which allow you to setup nearly any recurring pattern. See below.
Recurrence used for reminders
The Recurrence feature can be used to create recurring reminders of many patterns, including daily, weekly, monthly, yearly. You can't achieve these complex patterns in the Reminder tab.
The trick is to select "Just remind me" in the Action dropdown in the Recurrence tab.
