It’s not safe to install if you care about customer support and actually receiving the product you paid for. I tried for months last year by email and crash reports to get ANY acknowledgements that my Swift-To-Do was crashing on start-up and received NO response except a blog comment (later deleted) that I should do what I had already done (contact customer support). Oh, and a notice that I was being auto-billed for another year of no product and no service. Obviously contacting customer support would not have helped but the billing service was able to stop the auto payment.

I have been a customer for years and have no idea why I was treated this way. Even without subscribing I should be able to use my STDL as a desktop application, but I can’t since it crashes.

I had years of data, the latest version of which exists only in the cloud that I was not able to access for months. This is data that I paid for and should be able to access to use on my desktop.

What a terrible way to treat paying customers.

Any chance you guys could be a bit more competitive in your pricing in the future? I tried out the sync and it seems solid but I eventually had to pass on the subscription service due to the steep cost for just one user. Look around and take note of other subscription costs. Microsoft 365 Personal is at $70/yr. If STDL is going to be subscription-based at this point going forward, $100/yr for personal users seems excessively high. If you lower the cost, ideally, I would think you would bring more people in it seems to me. Just my opinion and the reason I had to pass but something to keep in mind.

I fully agree with this article. I get too many distractions a day and it really cripples my productivity. It’s important to not only train yourself to be accountable for how many interruptions you allow into your day but to train others by how you react to those interruptions.

We currently do not work on a native Windows Mobile smartphone app, but it’s a possibility, and the web-app might very well support Windows Mobile in the future.

having used Swift To-Do List with delight for a long time, I would like to get back to it again.
(It’s still the best To-Do – Tool I know and I like it very much!)

Hi!
As a self improvement fan I love your products!
So much so in fact that I am planning to promote them via my blog and twitter feed.

One of the main things that attracted me to Dextronet was the fact that you still make products that are Windows based. This is very important for me as I don’t want to be limited by having to have an Internet connection to manage my tasks. Also, I want to use your products at work but placing work artifacts in the cloud is forbidden.

OK, now for the suggestion. It would be really great if you had a product that could support the project management function. For now, I have been using a tool called GoalEnforcer, which is very good but does have its limitations.
I have been on courses where managers have been crying out for such a tool. Something that is powerful yet simple. Something in between MS project and Excel.

Do you have any plans to introduce such a product?

I guess it depends on the kind of work you do. If it’s your job to create something, I think it is reasonable to have others interrupt you only during scheduled times, or for you to reply to emails only during specified times of the day.

Whoever wrote this has never dealt with people. Probably Has no children. And no relationships. Or they’re typing this advice thinking that’s the answer and they haven’t tried living it out. The truth is much of the work we do anymore is people oriented. I can’t sit at my computer and passive aggressively pretend my coworker isn’t stopping by to asks question cause I’m too focused. Anyone who does this will learn the hard way. You have to get stuff done and you have to deal with interruptions with grace. The only way to train others to leave you alone is to train a culture of focus. Teach that person to be more focused and they will leave you alone and appreciate your space and you will have made a friend and not alienated someone. if you set your mind to achieve achieve achieve everyone you work with will hate you…seek to destroy you and all your nose to the grindstone crap will have been for nothing. Theres no black and white answer to questions like these. Be a good person. And adopt an always learning always teaching mindset.

When the time runs out, the message “Finished” starts blinking on the timer. Audio alert is currently not possible, but we will consider adding it if more customers request it.

Right now, we don’t plan a Windows phone app. That being said, if more customers request it, we will definitely consider it.

The web-app can and will have a better support for mobile devices in the future, so it might be eventually be possible to use it on Windows phone devices.

Will there be an app for Windows phone? If not, maybe just a stripped down app (like the mobile inbox) just to collect and sync items until able to access the full-featured Swift To-Do, where they can be processed, assigned to the right list, edited, etc?

I am trying to use the web app on a phone and it really doesn’t work!

Maybe I am misunderstanding. I want my recurring task to be set to repeat at 2 days after completion. I set it to 2 days after completion, set undone, due date 9/30. I checked it complete today 9/30, but the recurrence created new task as 10/3. It should be 10/2. Is this a bug?

We’re still working on our mobile apps for Swift To-Do List 9 but we have released a simple inbox app for Android and iOS that you can use in the meantime. Its name is Swift To-Do List Inbox and it’s available on Goole Play, Amazon Store and in Apple app store.

The inbox app is very simple, it syncs with an inbox to-do list in your database and allows you to view/add tasks without notes. The full version of the mobile app will be much more complete.

Also our companion web app is already accessible.

You have to sync your database to our cloud server in version 9 (click menu File – Advanced – Enable Beta Features (Sync)), there will be a new Sync menu in your ribbon with a detailed Sync guide available from it. Once you sync your database, you can access it from any web-browser (even mobile) using our companion web app: https://webapp.dextronet.com/

We’ve released Swift To-Do List 9.100 which adds an “immediate” recurrence mode support. Tasks can now recur immediately when you complete them. You can enable this in Options – Recurrence tab, and learn more in the Help file, in the Recurrence chapter, or in the blog post above, in the section named “What’s immediate recurrence?”.

Hi, I installed Android Swift-To-Do inbox but can’t log in it because of the error: ivalid username or password. I have already created and synchronized account on swift.me and I can log into swift.me with the same credentials that does not work for Android mobile app. I also reported this error through swift.me few days ago. Please advice.
