Hi Julie, Our blog doesn't automatically downloads anything. There are several mentions of Swift To-Do List, which lead to the info page, and also two Download buttons, which lead to the download page. Admittedly, there was one link in the text labeled "Swift To-Do List" which lead to the download page, so I've corrected it now so it leads to the info page as well. Thanks for spotting that. I am sorry for any confusion. By the way, all our downloads are code-signed.

So it’s a good post, and you make good points, but I really don’t expect a link in a blog to automatically download an .exe file. My expectation when clicking a link to your Swift To-Do List product is that it would go to a *page* about the product, where I could then make a decision about downloading a trial version.

I’m actually in the market for a to-do list application, and am willing to pay for something that’s good, but unexpectedly finding myself with an .exe sitting in on my computer makes me wary, and unlikely to install…
