I&#039;m not suggesting it improves the conversion rate of successful installs. What I am suggesting is that it improves the download-to-successful-installation ratio, which, in the end, improves the overall conversion rate download-to-purchase.

Yup, &quot;Advanced options&quot; link label that opens extra config window is the best way to present the advanced options. Opera guys do this that way too.

So far we&#039;ve received only 2 complaints after simplifying the installer, and also some praise, that the updates are now easier.]]></description>

However, I doubt, that it will increase conversion rate as the installation is forgotten at the time the user consider to buy the software. The *Uninstaller* is much more critical in this regard.

You may also may want to have the option &quot;advanced options&quot; at the front page for those who really want to configure all the details.

We have removed a lot of expert options and guess what. They were first complaining that they cannot configure the program folder, etc.
